The next release will include sound (if licence allows) and basic 3d support (although at current state flicker between 2d and 3d scenes on the top screen, I have yet to find away to fix this, if anyone has any ideas let me know).

I’v been coming to this website everyday (haven’t posted much lately though) and am wondering, are you going to continue on the ds emulator tell it works like 90% of the time? I no all of you have lives and thats a good thing, but i’v also like to say something very important,

First off, i’d like to say awesome job to Normmatt and any other staff member of the Desmume project
I just have a quick question: does any current Desmume version support save state or any other way of saving (different from ingame), as i really like the compatibility this emulator has, and i’d really like if there was a way of saving progress

No, actually the emulator doesn’t support saving your progress.
The emulator save states don’t work well so its don’t count.
Save states are not in my current TODO list, don’t know if Normmatt is willing to. The main problem about it, is loading the internal states (not the DS ones). It’s not too hard to do, but it’s a BORING job, and needs lots of time looking for which states need to be saved.
So, not for now, but anyone is free to implement them properly and commit the changes to the sourceforge cvs

Normatt ur nds emulator works the best so far for me and why don’t u tell those annoying user to fuck off, give u BJ’s if they wan’t u to speed things up.

Hm I tested Harvest moon DS (U) n (J), both works in the old emulator n in the new one, but the speed is a bit better.
I will test more roms soon but if someone thinks those messages are annoying i wont test em.

I tested another rom The Sims 2 – Hachamecha Hotel Life (J), the intro works, but u cant play, the speed is really slow (FPS 13/15), i also found a bug (on DeSmuME_wip1), the touch screen is the 1st screen, n the normal screen is the 2nd (it should be vice versa) its similar to the Load save Bug, but i didnt loaded any save game (the old DeSmuME versions doesnt have that bug).
Chingada, your last two posts were uncalled for. NOBODIES TRUST seems to have trouble speaking and writing english and might have meant to say something a little different.
Also Normmatt, Shash, and RockmanRotties (And anyone else I missed) are handling the problems here already and they are doing it their way.

Alright, but is their way working? Why can’t they just tell somone to fuck off. It’s not like NOBODIES TRUST is helping with the dev of the NDS emulator. Why try to be an hypocrite about it? Chingada: It’s not about not being able to say it, but to be polite. I prefer to explain my point of view and make people think about their posts if I think they’re are innadecuate/wrong, than just insulting them. Starting flamewars it’s not really useful, but to lose loads of time
So, please, use some argumentation instead of insulting, because the later only results in lost time for us all.

There are no sophisticated insults here. What you did was wrong. You should NOT insult those that are interested in emulators. If shash or normmatt do not want that then they will say something, not you. Why not answer a question asked logically and without any insult? That’s my point.

0571 – FIFA 2007 (E) – Ingame, slow but you cannot see anything on the top of the screen.

I think GoodNDS is great. I hope the next release has sound and the option to scale video to 2x, 3x and 4x like the Visualboy GBA emulator. Will linking, not necessarily to another copy of GoodNDS be looked at soon?
I have getting very tired of all these winny little bastards, and i’m thinking about not releasing the emulator at all.
And for all you people asking for a release, WAIT!!, if you want an unfinished and buggy release that fine but the development team wants an almost bug free release (meaning there shouldnt be any bugs with thats implemented, not what hasnt been implemented yet) and thats not to say that the next release will have perfect emulation because it wont, you cant get 100% perfect emulation without spending a very long time studying exactly how things work. Desmume isnt cycle emulation perfect but it still plays games fine.
